Insomnia
« on: February 29, 2020, 10:26:26 AM »

I am 48 and in meno. My dr suggested 2mg of sandrena gel, but I literally couldn't sleep.
So for the last 2 months I have been taking 1mg.
My insomnia has got worse to the point that I am literally not sleeping!
During the day I feel great, and have loads of energy, but at night I cannot sleep!
Should I reduce the dose to 1/2 mg, or just change the type of estrogen?
I have an appointment with meno dr in couple of weeks, but it is so difficult to cope with work when your not sleeping!  :'(

Lack of sleep is draining.  Maybe put the product name into the search box and see what pops up?  Make notes ;-)

Thanks CKLD. The last couple days I have been using 1/2 mg of gel and slept better.
Hopefully when I see the meno specialist he can decide whether I need a lower dose or a different type.

Perhaps take it in the morning instead of at night (if you aren't already doing so)?
