Menopause Monologues 2
« on: February 26, 2020, 07:39:52 PM »

Hi Ladies,

I know this book was mentioned a while back, I think Emma posted asking for contributors 🤔

Well the book is now out - it's a great read - A collection of real-life experiences by women (and a few men!) of the menopause.  One of the stories is my story, which although isn't the norm owing to my massive surgical complications,  the author felt it was an important story to include.

it's available on Amazon

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Menopause-Monologues-More-experiences-women/dp/1654087327/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3Q417MF3QSGB4&keywords=menopause+monologues&qid=1582745935&sprefix=Menopause+monol%2Caps%2C148&sr=8-1

Hi Groundhog. I thought it was you!
My story is in it too. ( sadly not the one with the rampant libido! )
The book by Harriet Powell  is a great little read and is a very open account of different womens experience of menopause.
It is available from Amazon and half the books proceeds will go to the charity SHELTER. The MM site is mentioned and although it is a valuable source of information and support for all of us it would be great if we could also get the word out about the book. I'm going to get a copy for my GP practice and give it to the practice manager...
Thanks for reading my post. I'm away to search for my missing libido
