oestrogel and ammonia smell

hi i've noticed since using the gel that it gives off on my body an ammonia aroma i noticed it before when i was using it and when i stop for 9 weeks it went away and now since starting the gel again it's come back has anyone else noticed this .

I whiff occasionally although DH says he can't smell anything.
What's in the product list?

i?m not sure what's in the product list do you get the same smell ?
i used the gel on my legs before and could smell it around my private area and now i use it on my arms and can smell it again it has to be that because i had it before when on the gel i?m not sure if it's the alcohol in it ?

Dehydration and UTI's can make your urine smell of amonia.

hi yes i know that but am neither dehydrated or have uti
and it went away when i took a break from the gel and now it's back since starting the gel again

It's probably the product? A reaction to hormones? Maybe ask a Pharmacist?

Gel contains alchohol which gives off an odour when it evaporates - so your nose might be interpeting this as ammonia as sense of smell can change after menopause - mine certainly has! Also it could be how it is reacting with something in your skin. It does not contain ammonia or anything like it!
