Help, how do u cope with perimenopause
« on: February 11, 2020, 07:26:44 PM »

Hi I'm new to this forum.
I started Hrt a year ago and all was going well, then around Nov Dec I started feeling like I did before Hrt.
I have put on over a stone but haven't changed my eating habits, also bleeding between periods again.
I went to see my doctor 2 weeks ago who told me to cut my patch in half and only use half which I have done and now feel even worse, i don't sleep, I'm tired and no energy any more and have bad panick attacks at night.
I'm having a scan tomorrow to see if my fibroids have grown.
I'm just so fed up with feeling like this
I don't want to go out, nothing fits me anymore and have no interest in life.
Any help or advise would be great.
Thank you in advance.

Hi you probably needed more not less  ::)

Maybe put the product name into the search box here.  Make notes ;-).  Once the scan is over and you know where you are - it's to measure what might be happening in side - make a list of how you felt until Dec. and how you have been since.

Do you have thyroid function issues?  Sometimes it is affected by hormones.

Hi, thank you for replying.
I do t ha e thyroid issues as far as I know, they took a blood test to check my thyroid when this all started and that came back as normal.

Within normal limits can be mis-leading.  But you don't need medication for thyroid?
