Good morning, I'm new to this forum but need some advise please. I had a hormone coil fitted in September & have been using Estradiol 1mg since late October which I was changed to from hrt tablets due to heavy bleeding. My question is should I still be bleeding? I am 4yrs post

Hi Juejee

 :welcomemm:

Sorry to hear about your ongoing bleeding. What were the hRT tablets you were taking before? If your womb lining had built up while taking them and was not treated then it will take some time to thin down so bleeding is expected during the first 6 months and sometimes more. Did you have a scan before having the Mirena fitted?

If you are worried about the bleeding, and it is still heavy then do have a check up with the doc?
