hi anaise

i have used ovestin for a year now but i swapped from vagifem to this but i would do a loading dose first it tells u in the leaflet i think it's same as vagifem every night for two weeks then twice a week x

i'm not sure the estrogel was causing my hairloss u know as first week stopped shedding and this second week it's been shedding again same amount as on the estrogen x so don't know what i'm going to do x

hope ur ok 👌 other then the Va

Hi Sammie, give it time for your Estrogel to leave your body. It can take upto 4 months the meno specialist told me.

Anaise...Do a daily two week load, then find a maintenance dose that suits you, personally i never managed on the 2/3 week regime. I started with Ovestin but changed over to Vagifem which i prefer, sex was literally a pain for me but not anymore ;)

Anaise, the biological half-life of tropical estradiol is appr. 36.5 hours, the time it takes before it's exceted from your body. I think your specialist means the time it takes for your hormones to balance out.
