In rare cases, it's been prescribed to ciswomen. I inject a very small amount of testosterone cypionate every 4 days. It's been working out quite well for me and I have had much better results vs gel daily. Less side-effects (coarser body hair, acne/oily skin) and more benefits like increased energy and strength, libido, sensate clitoris, less cellulite, nicer skin and hair, improved mental disposition (calmer, improved memory, better mood), sleeping better.

Sometimes, you need be a little bold to get where you want. ;)

The problem with gel is that since testosterone is applied to the skin where there is a high concentration of 5-alpha reductase, more of it gets converted to DHT so that one gets more DHT then they should relative to T. DHT is a stronger, more potent androgen which results in scalp hair loss, acne, more and darker body hair (especially where applied). :( I didn't like it.

I've never come across the term ciswomen - not sure what this means  :-\

What you are talking about Erika is very niche, and if I may say is not really relevant to most women at all. I mean you're talking about getting hold of some totally unlicensed untested formulation and dose and injecting it and as such no-one should even contemplate thinking about this at all. Fine what you do in the privacy of your own home (in a different country - where you might be able to get hold of something like this legally?) but not recommended here by anyone at all. It has never been mentioned on here to my knowledge. Sorry - but it gives women false hope.

I get Testosterone Cypionate (very similar to Testosterone Enanthate and longer lasting than Testosterone Propionate) by legal means, directly from the pharmacy with my doctor's prescription. A vial lasts me almost one year and costs me practically nothing as I'm reimbursed 80%.

It is intended for use by men. However, it can also be prescribed to women, at the doctor's discretion. Studies dating as far back as the 1940's have been conducted, using testosterone in the form of intramuscular injections in women. Intramuscular testosterone has also been prescribed by clinics to women. These studies and protocols can serve as a reference, a starting point, for physicians prescribing testosterone to women, it did for me and my doctor:

I'm quite happy with the results. :) I also inject Estradiol Valerate (longer lasting than Estradiol Benzoate). This is prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy in Canada (we have several across the country).

interested in what you mentioned about testosterone being converted to DHT through the skin in gel form by way of high levels of 5 alpha reductase ! would this be the case then for estradiol applied to the skin in a gel would this convert to DHT?

No, estradiol cannot convert to androgens such as testosterone and dihydrotestosterone (DHT). Testosterone, however, can convert to estradiol but DHT cannot convert to estradiol.
