Head Pressure
« on: December 01, 2019, 05:44:18 PM »

Hello Ladies

Has anyone had head pressure as a symptom or peri/meno? I've had this symptom since all my other symptoms started two years ago.  All I can describe it as, is a pressure that starts at the base of my skull, which travels up to my ears and back of head....then is disappears after a minute or two. It is not painful, but feels very weird like someone is squeezing my head or that the pressure inside my head has increased. My GP assured me this is nothing untoward and it is a type of vasomotor symptom.

I'm really just looking for reassurance, since all the other women I have spoken to only have hot flush, sweating or night sweats as their vasomotor symptoms. My neck and chest tends to go bright red when it happens....so maybe this is just how I feel a hot flush?

Thank you!!!

Could be Alib, hot flushes can be weird at the best of times, I get a sensation of butterflies in my stomach before a flush, keep a check, when you get the head sensation, see if a flush type symptom follows
