Yes, when my elderly dad was in hospital, mum looked through their emails, though usually she leaves emails to dad. She can’t cope with technology. There was was one saying that there was no money in their account to pay the bills. She went into meltdown, but fortunately phoned me first before responding. I immediately said it’s a scam and don’t click on anything. I told her not to look at anymore emails, until I got there! It’s cruel. But she won’t touch the iPad anymore even to use FaceTime. Just the phone.
