Hi all, further to my last post about night sweats, my doctor has ruled out everything from the blood tests. She did say that the drug I am on, venlafaxi e might be causing it, but have been on it for 3 years and not had this as bad before. Very confused now as in my experience you can get hot and sticky if too hot in bed, but this was soaked PJs and sheets. Do you guys think its drop in estrogen as still have ovaries after hysto.

Yes Charlie,I'm with Dotty, I still have my ovaries after a hysterectomy  but they're all but done working now,my sweats were dreadful,they come and go to varying degrees,get yourself a decent fan,mine is on all night every night x

In other words, your GP knows very little as this drug is prescribed to ease hot flushes  ::)

Probably a drop in oestrogen.  HORMONES  >:(
