Extremely dry mouth
« on: October 17, 2019, 09:25:14 PM »

Hi
New menopause symptom for me, I have an extremely dry mouth even though I drink lots of fluid. Sometimes it makes me feel nauseous, any one else experience this and any tips to try and help?

Thanks xx

Can't help you with any tips...but you're not alone..
A few weeks ago everything hit me at once including waking in the middle of the night on many occasion leading up to this with such a dry mouth it felt almost painful to try and make saliva to wet it again...

Yes I have suffered this and not nice

Chew sugar free gum and I bought tablets off amazon that adhere to gum and encourage saliva-production x

Yes me too. Had it for about 2 years now. Hrt makes no difference to it although my absorption is a bit dodgy. But yes i get through a lot of sugar free gum and tons of water!
