Not sure how much more I can take. Need patches.
« on: September 12, 2019, 01:02:58 PM »

As we all know HRT shortage has effected a lot of us.
Im seriously going to end up crazy Ive had twenty years of bloody shit with hrt and still not settled.
Im upset and angry and feel totally let down with help and support.
Ive spent the last two day wiped and at the point I may cry at any point as something so stupid like dropping a spoon on the floor.
I really cant take much more as have other health issues (ME and depression) and the last week I feel let down with my body. 21 years Ive suffered, Im still suffering and every day is a bloody struggle.
Sorry for the rant but Im really feeling let down by everyone.

So sorry it's come to this butterfly,

Is there anything we can do to help you?
I feel let down by my own body too at times, but it's the only one I have so I'm trying not to be afraid of it as we're in it together...litterally!
So is it your lack of patches that's breaking you down at this point?

I don't have patches otherwise I'd send you some. Hang in there, you're tougher than you think.

I don't know if this will help at all but Dr Newson has created a hrt alternatives guide to take to your gp:

https://www.menopausedoctor.co.uk/news/hrt

I had to trawl around every chemist in town the other day for my estrogel as they all wanted to give me oestodose. Superdrug were fantastic and ordered me exactly what I wanted. I'd never thought of using them before.

I hope things improve for you soon x

Hi ladies, thanks so much for your lovely replies.
I feel like Ive moaned on the site for years and some times feel like a pain but
So fed up with this roller coaster.
I had a text off boots saying prescription ready and my daughter picked it up.
ONLY the patches I was owed from months ago! I literally cant believe it.
I wish Id picked it up to ask how the heck have they come in. As they know me
And the trouble Ive had.
Are they coming back through now?
I think my daughter thought Id gone mad i threw them in the air like Id just won the lotto!
I do get fed up as ME is difficult enough atm Im catching bug after bug just got rid of a virus after four weeks now caught a head cold.
The patches have cheered me up just hope this means things are looking up.
Superdrug is a good idea I never think of them.
Thanks ladies so much as your kind words mean everything 🤗xxxx

Hello Butterfly22

I am so pleased that you now have your patches.

I think the feeling that your body is letting you down is a common one sadly. I have  a virus that has wiped me out and set my nerves jangling and it's no fun at all and that's without ME!

Hopefully you will feel better soon.

Take care.

Ah thank you so much, I started early so 21 years so far and still struggling. I think Ive just had one of those moments when you think how much more can one person take, I feel annoyed Im still only 45 yet almost half my life struggled.
Your kind words mean a lot so thank you xxx
