After a long consult with a GP today because my meno specialist is tired of me and won't return my emails, I have decided to move back to the Evorel Conti patches, which I wasn't originally absorbing well on for 2yrs and when my meno specialist moved me onto the gel and utrogestan (100mg vaginally) back in March of this year.  Over the last few weeks I have felt so ill and I believe the Utrogestan is the main culprit because when I missed the odd one my symptoms ie. anxiety and brain fog wasn't quite so bad the next day.

I moved down from 3 squirts of gel exactly a week ago to 2 and have purposely missed two utrogestan the last two nights.  My intention is to move back onto the patch tomorrow morning with a view that my levels will be kinda in line when I transition over.

Do you think I am tackling the transition in the right way please?

Hi jefner - thanks for your pm which I only got just now as I haven't been on the forum and have answered you there. It is your meno specialist's job to look after you and especially to understand and empathise with menopausal women and alleviate their concerns! However if on NHS they do have limited time I guess but should refer you on if they don't have time to help you. If private then you are paying and are entitled to a service!

I hope you are feeling better today and that your transition to the patches goes smoothly. Let us know how you get on :)
