For several months I've had background heartburn which often develops into raging reflux

A few weeks ago I didn't go shopping so ran out of egg custards, eclairs etc.. Heartburn disappeared

Last week it was background. Constant. The need for milk of magnesia and 'rennies' was necessary.
So I am being more cautious about what I am putting into my gob.
Breakfast is always muesli, a little milk and sugar plus a black tea, 2 sugars
Evening meal is usually a curry on rice; stir fried or roasted veg. with chicken or meat ........ mince mixed with veg. on pasta. Occasionally sandwiches from a store when we are in a hurry or away from the house; usually white bread with filling. Crisps. Coke.
I know that I eat too quickly.
Chocolate - the food that melts at body temperature so gives pleasure. Good for us in small doses

. I fancy different bars - currently it's Cadbury with nuts. A few months ago it was 2 squares of dark chocolate for pudding. Flake anyone

Lunch is the most difficult - today I've had an oven cooked pre-prepared pizza with mozzarella and mushrooms. Eaten slowly. Savoured, the cheese melting gently and the mushrooms gentle on the palate. Having been anorexic since aged 3 where food was eaten, enough to keep me upright .......
I really have to fancy foodstuffs in order to consider eating them. Salad, naahhh ........ radishes however, eaten as a snack! but oh they have been hot recently
