Kliovance
« on: August 12, 2019, 06:36:27 PM »

Hi started on Kliovance 3 months ago for symptoms of menopause.
Have noticed NO changes, any one else on this with same experience?
Don't know whether to continue on it or go back to GP.

Thanks,  :)

Hi jacmar

 :welcomemm:

What symptoms are you hoping to relieve? Can you tell us a bit more about yourself and where you are in menopause so we can help you ie cycle, periods, age etc? HRT can take a while to kick in but really it should have worked by now - at least if you have had flushes and sweats you should have noticed them lessening. Patches often work within days. Perhpas the dose is not high enough - and you could ask for Kliofem which is 2 mg oestrogen? yes I would go back to GP in your position - I would have thought you should have been offered a review after 3 months anyway? Good luck and keep us posted!

Hot flushes, joint pain, anxiety, the list goes on!!
I'm 54 and haven't had a period for 3 years, first time on anything as symptoms were manageable at beginning.
Hot flushes seemed to get worse, especially at night when I didn't get them previously.
I would rather go on patches than tablets, will re visit GP,

Thanks for reply xx
