Hello, I joined a while ago, but can't remember if I've posted at all 🤯
I've been trying to avoid hrt, but many symptoms have got so horrendous, I've decided I need to try it.....I've tried various other things which haven't helped.
A few questions please.....my GP has agreed to oestrogel, and utrogestan, at my request.....I am 52, last period was 2 or 3 yrs ago.....so should I be on continuous progesterone, rather than 14 days at a time?
Also, will I have to pay two prescription charges each time?
I am nervous, I have a long term illness and don't like taking drugs, but I'm desperate! I also suffer from frequent headaches and sometimes more than occasional migraines, and from what I've read online, that doesn't tend to go well with hrt.
Any answers would be appreciated, I'm phoning my Dr up today re dosage.
