Hi -I've been lurking for a while but thought I would say hello.
My meno journey came to a head at Christmas-Crippling anxiety and depression,palpitations low mood and terrible sleep. I was 43!
My Gp though it was PMDD and gave me low dose Sertraline which made me worse!
We tried qlaira but it gave me headaches so went on Everol Sequi which was ok. In the meantime I went to see a Gynae who specialised in Menopause and she recommended a mirena coil and oestrogen gel or patches. I had the mirena coil fitted under ga last week -She also did a hystocopy as well which was clear and prescribed everol 50
So a week on -My sleep is still a bit hit and miss,still some discharge and my mood is better. I'm back for a review in 3 weeks
