Why ‘2 hours after food’
« on: June 23, 2019, 07:26:09 PM »

Hi ladies. Does anyone know what happens if you take utrogestan too close to eating! It's really clear on the leaflet that it has to be a long time after food, but I'm fed up of having to stay up later to leave a 2 hour gap.

Does it not work, or will it make me feel ill?

Hiya. I believe it either speeds up or increases the amount absorbed.xx

Yes Tc is right. It increases the amount absorbed if taken with food or when stomach is full . Should be taken at night on an empty stomach , at least 2 hours after food x
