Thanks for taking the time to help me with this Birdy.  I will definitely be in touch with the clinic when I get back from holiday.  I will let you know how things progress.

I'm not too bad today thanks CLKD.  In fact I've felt a bit better as the day's gone on.  I've used some coconut oil down below to see if that helps and taking Nurofen.  I think this is what I will have to do when I'm away and just hope it doesn't get any worse.

I looked online at my GUM clinic and it does not really mention anything except contraception, HIV, STI and clamydia testing.  Can they really help?

Some do others deal purely with sexually transmitted problems.

4 me VA was like razor blades up there  :o
