Posting for a friend, sghe has been taking klivance and still having hot flushes, even wet through with sweating, after missing taking it one night, no sweating, what could be the problem, ? anyone else had this with Kliovance
She is 56

She should make sure with the doc that there are no other causes for the sweats and if not then she probably needs a higher dose of oestrogen which is Kliofem. The other possibility also is that the progestogen in that one doesn't agree with her - some women find they still sweat/get flushes with low dose oestrogen and some of the synthetic progestogens. Another type which is sometimes better tolerated is Femoston conti which has the same dose oestorgen but different progestogen - but doesn't come in higher dose for post-menopause.
