If all clear I would definitely want to trial local oestrogen for 3 plus months, as said I no ladies ( myself included) that it proved to be a sign of vaginal atrophy.
Thankyou Maryjane!! I watched your video with Dr Renee before my appointment, thought it was excellent. I saw a different nurse practitioner who I've found out is specialised in menopause issues. I could've hugged her, no dormant STI nonsense, no inference of infidelity, no scaremongering about the green stuff, just good old fashioned listening and empathy. When I thought about it I actually had other symptoms down there also attributable to VA. I've been given estriol cream, used it once so far and there is definite improvement. I'm going for a pelvic exam soon for completeness. The other NP didn't even ask to see or share the fact that her colleague was trained in this sort of stuff! Anyway I'm happier so again thank you x
