Vagifem

Hi
Three days in with Vagifem for dryness/soreness and I have had an episode of nausea and fatigue. Coincidence or connected? I thought it was such a low dose it unlikely to have side effects. Within the first day the area was less dry (or have I imagined that?) I also now have sore tum and took ibuprofen for period like pains this morning! (and I have no womb!!) As I recently had gallbladder removed and only just settled my digestion down a sore tum is not welcome! Would like to know others recent experiences of the little blue pill.

I have never had any side effects from Vagifem, your symptoms sound far more likely to be related to a virus.
Vagifem are white, with a blue applicator, I think Viagra is blue, hopefully you are not using that!

No side effects for me either kittyM. My applicator is blue but the suppository is white. I noticed a difference in dryness quite quickly too

I believe that a few ladies do report this even though the up-take is minimal. If you put the name into the search box you'll find lots of references to this ............ R U keen to persevere?

I was thinking I may just miss the two-week loading and go straight from the three full days to twice a week as it seems to have had such an instant 'moistening up' effect (TMI) I wondered if I don't need a lot? Symptoms were quite mild - just soreness and discomfort, not UTIs - I am under the pelvic physio lady and she said it would work wonders for that but even that is really mild - pelvic floor in relatively good condition and just very occasional leak on heavy lifting. Pelvic floor was damaged following constipation after gallbladder op and the hysterectomy. If it is not one thing it's another! Definitely, worth giving it a go I think - friends have had great success with it! Just wondered what others results have been - will have a more thorough search on here. Thank you.
