I was on ELleste duet 1mg but it is no longer being manufactured.  I have now been put on Kliovance 1/05mg.  Is this an equivalent dosage?  I've been taking it for a week and for the first time in 4 years I've had a hot flush 🥵 during the day.

Hi Kliovance is the same amount of oestrogen but it is for post menopausal women so you are taking progesterone every day. Are you post menopause ? X

Yes I was on the sequential Elleste Duet but as it was no longer available and I had been on it for almost 4 years, my doctor suggested a continuous HRT.  I am 56 years old

Hi as you are 56 then it's likely that you are ready for a continuous hrt but you may not be. It can take time for your body to adapt to any new hrt regime . If your symptoms persist or get worse after 4 - 6 weeks you may need a higher dosage. X
