Hiya ladies. I've done a search on here but cant find the answer to my question, maybe because it's a silly question but here goes. 
I've got the testogel sachets 50mg/5g gel unit. I've started today with a pea sized blob but, it says on the forum info that a sachet should last 10 days. Im going to use everyday (im in surgical meno so dont think theres a danger of that being too high) but I dont think it will last that long using every day.
 But my real question is how do you all store it? Once the sachet is opened wont the product go "off" or lose effectiveness over the next 10 days?  Do you have to reseal it somehow? And do you store it in cupboard? I didnt get any instructions with it  but even if I had I assume  they wouldnt cover the "resealing" issue anyway as men use the whole sachet at once.

Mine lasts 20 days as I'm light weight. I just snip the corner & squeeze out amount needed, & leave it on the shelf, some use a paper clip or a peg to shut it .

A pea-sized blob of Testogel gives me 10-14 day's worth. The gel is quite runny so difficult to judge, but you will soon get the hang of it. Err on the side of caution at first.

To store, I turn the top of the sachet over and secure with a paperclip, and then stand it upright in a small pot. I have never kept it in the fridge, though. I wonder if one ought to in the summer? Dunno!

Hi TC! I've just been clipping the top with a bulldog clip - I don't even fold it over as the clip is quite tight. I leave the sachet on top of my chest of drawers as it has to be in plain sight or I wouldn't remember to use it every day  . No idea if it alters it's effectiveness as it still doesn't seem to be doing much (have you heard that before?  )

I've found that a pea sized blob lasts me more than 10 days - 14 at first, down to about 12 now I have gone for a pea sized blob and a dribble. I think there or thereabouts is OK with such small amounts of testosterone as long as you don't use more over a roughly 10 day period.

Like the others - when I used testogel ( for 3 years before being given Testim) I did the same - fold over. Use paperclip (also invaluable when going away when I put the whole sachet in one of those little polythene coin bags from the bank, to stop it going everywhere!)) and chucked in my make-up bag...no idea whether exposure to air causes any change oin the active ingredient (the T itself) but as it seemed to work OK for me I just presume not!

Thanks everyone. I havent heard anywhere that the ingredients degrade once opened it's just my mind ticking away. I realy think I think too much
Seems as though it doesnt as it seems to work well for a lot of ladies. Trust me to come up with a new question!!
Joaniepat. I think it usually says if a med needs to be refrigerated.
I know it's better to start slow but I'm quite happy to start every day  straight away
as I know my T production has dropped by at least 50 % after oopherectomy. So we shall see how I get on. Heres hoping.

Like Hurdity can't say I've noticed a change in effectiveness after the sachet has been opened and I just leave on the bathroom windowsill mine usually lasts about 10 days.
