Heart palpitations

Hello ladies.
I haven't posted on here for a long time but i thought I'd ask your advice. My latest symptoms are anxiety which is causing racing heart and strong heart beat. I'm telling myself it's nothing and try to ignore them but when I'm resting it's really noticeable. This has been the last 3 months. I've had two ecgs and the doctor said it's nothing to be worried about. My question is I'm told HRT helps this. I'm using 1 and a half pumps of oestriogel nightly and 100mg utrogestan for 14 nights. Is it too low a dose of the gel I'm using?

Menopause does cause palpitations and that then triggers anxiety which then causes palpitations! Drink plenty of fluids, I can forget to drink until I'm very thirsty and then get a racing heart from dehydration .

Hi
The standard therapeutic dose of gel is 2 pumps so you perhaps need more? Especially as you are taking plenty of progesterone. I've had an issue with Oestrogel absorption recently and I started getting a very fluttery heartbeat which I never usually have.
