Tiblone
« on: March 15, 2019, 10:19:44 PM »

Hi could anyone who's taken Tiblone give me any advice please.
I've been taking it for nearly a month and I just don't want to do anything .
It's really worrying I just want to lay in bed all day and watch tv. I have been doing this.
I feel low as well and can't satisfy hunger.
Continuously eating especially at night.cant sleep until around 4am.
Should I stop taking it?I didn't feel like this prior.

Thanks .

Hi Battyboo. Sorry you are still having problems.

One of the main side effects of Prostap injection, which I see from your past posts you have had recently, is difficulty sleeping and this should have been explained to you along with other side effects. It could be the injection that's causing insomnia and not Tibolone. What is the reason for the Prostap and when is your next injection due and have your periods now stopped?

Hello Battyboo and welcome to the forum.

I took Tibolone for about a year and I don't recall having the reaction that you've had although I would need to  check my diary to be sure. Perhaps consider Taz2's suggestion that something else may be causing your symptoms?

I hope you feel better soon and please keep posting.

Take care.

Hi I'm 50
I was still having periods every month but 25 days and very heavy  and  I have anemia.
They decided to trial prosrap given Jan 15
3 months worth
They have given me tiblone 2.5g one a day.
I take an anti depressant only half a tablet as trying to warn off for past 4months, venaflaxine , absolutely awful to get off.
I honestly feel dreadful, anxiety, depression , almost suicidal thoughts fleetingly not compulsive.
What have they done to me??
I'm just not sure what too do.

Hi just to recap on my experience and hopefully any of you lovely ladies can help.
So I tried Prostrap injection to put in me in a total menopause in January.
Tiblone 2.5mg .
I took it for 2.6 months and stopped.
I thought I was going out of my mind.I felt horrendous.I have had to start taking sertraline anti depressant.
Literally just feeling reasonable.
So ....my question is.......
Was it the Prostrap
Tiblone or Meno
I have too go back to the menstrual disorders clinic in May .
I have no idea what too do.
Thankyou in advance
