Exactly stellajane, MM Has informed me more than any health professional.  I just feel more could be done when in peri, In the beginning I had so many tests for thrush etc and no doctor would even consider VA.  even now I still have irritation most days, and it gets referred to as a ph imbalance rather than my GP actually saying VA

Crazy, isn't it? It's the VA that causes the pH imbalance in the first place!

Yes I now realise I had VA symptoms years before I was diagnosed. I was examined by my gp 10 years ago with what must have been symptoms, but no diagnosis. It took things to get bad before anything happened.  I never knew about VA before and how serious dryness could be.
