Have you been to the GP or Optician?
Might be blepharitis and an antibiotic is needed.  :)

Hi Salad,  I've had my eyes checked and she said I was suffering from dry eyes it has something to do with hormones and the menopause, I've been using eye drops, but because my eyes are running and I'm wiping them all of the time it's got them sore and dry.

Poor you!
I'm guessing the eye drops are the best solution to prevent the streaming eyes eventually. Not sure about a cream to use on the sore bits, unless you can be sure to avoid the eye.

Maybe a tiddly bit of olive oil
I was told to put warm olive oil in my ear by a doctor, so I'm guessing that must be ok for delicate skin use  :)

Not for eyes.  It makes them sticky.  Boiled, cooled, tepid water with salt in.  Large cotton wool ball, soaked and squeezed.  Hold onto the eyes but do use a different pad for each and throw them to prevent cross infection.  I tried an eye spray but it made me jump to the point that I dreaded using it  ;D.

Ice cubes can help too.
