Yes, I have had some clicking, feeling like right ear (for me mostly the right ear) is blocked at times. A nurse looked at it a while ago as I mentioned it may be blocked but there was apparently nothing. Have had on an off tinnitus and a fine selection of all sorts of symptoms mostly during 2018 they really got bad. Peri has been a terrible time for me but I have recently found things improving (I have over the last few weeks slept all the way through most nights, have not had this for a while). One thing I found I never had before peri was anxiety and that is awful but this is improving. Becoming aware that this is a peri symptom helped a lot for me. I am thinking I may actually be better off once I have reached menopause (don't quote me on that yet though). I wish you all the best. AG

Oh god. Can I clarify that I am not wearing a willy hat. It's a woolly hat  ;D
Big hugs to all anxiety ridden ladies out there xxxx
Oh my god, I just choked on my coffee,I've actually tears running down my face, can yo get willy hats??
Oh dear, that's totally made my day
Anyway,on to clicking in ears, can you take Sudafed?if so,try that alongside popping your ears,if you can, some people can't but that's what I do for a couple of days when it's bugging me.

Willy warmers were popular years ago  ;)

I seem to be deaf on the right  :-\.  I would rather go blind: the thought of never hearing the duet from The Pearl Fishers; Beetovern's music; or the violin concertos  :'(

Hi Hasty, I think CLKD is getting them checked soon.

Oh my click mainly on the right side.  It feels blocked very often, a wiggle can release it momentarily.  I am due for a check up with our Nurse next week as I am deaf on that side when it's blocked.

Hopefully it will be clearable then I'll get a hearing test.

Yep.  Appt. made.  Don't understand the oil into the ear for 12 days if they need syringing  :-\ ..... 2 at the most should be enough!  It's for a look-see as it doesn't feel like wax is the problem.

It takes a long time for the oil to break down the wax I expect. Plus if it's loosened it will come out easier.
It might not feel like wax but that doesn't mean to say that it isn't.

Ears & hearing are precious so look after them.

Am trying to not panic about it.  I also have post nasal drip [for years+] and my tongue is constantly 'scratching' the roof of my mouth even in sleep.  Probably all connected.  At least the tinnitus is less in recent days  ::)

Hello Hasty,

Maybe the warm bit is just to make sure the oil has the same temperature as your body, avoiding a sudden temperature change?

CLKD,

Hope your appointment goes well and it's nothing but earwax buildup.

That would be way too hot to put onto the body though ? [what's it in real money ? ]

Anyone remember when olive oil was in the bathroom cabinet and not in the kitchen?

I get over that one Hasty - I don't cook  ;) - DH has lots of bottles of olive oil with additives, i.e. lemons in one, crushed garlic in the other, to spread on his home made bread  8)
