Hi All, I hope someone can help. I'm in a wonderful new relationship after my marriage broke down a year ago. At 55 I've just started using vagifem and I am on day 3 of the initial daily dose for 14 days. . My question is how do you time inserting a pessary and sex? Last night I was sure the boyf was not up for it but he was and I had just put the pessary in. As we hadn't seen each other for nearly 3 weeks I didn't feel I could stop to explain! I told him straight after and advised him to have a good wash! Any advise please as to whether the boyf will have absorbed any estrogen and also how do you generally time your doses with any possible activity?

I put mine in at night as I have become a weekend morning type of person, three teens who are up late put me off, but they sleep in at weekends so that has become our time
You can use Vagifem at anytime, unlike Ovestin so you easily change the timing.
