Questions for private appt
« on: January 01, 2019, 08:11:00 PM »

Any suggestions to ask a menopause specialist? I'm going next week after a year of awful symptoms. I'm 43 and premenopausal and have had hormonal symptoms for 4 years but the last year has prompted me to see someone privately. Just wondered if anyone has any advice for this please?

Make a note of your last periods.  Any gaps since.

Overall feelings.  Listed in the order you feel them the most.  Flushes don't always equate to menopause but many specialists don't believe that a lady can be menopausal unless she flushes.  Ask if any medication advised can be prescribed via your GP Surgery.
