Hot flushes while on estelle duet
« on: November 20, 2018, 12:11:55 PM »

I am on Estelle duet and still getting hot flushes on them but mainly when taking the progesterone tablets in the pack . I moved up from evoril sequi to estelle duet 1 mg and thought it would get rid of these symptoms. anyone else having these symptoms?

I can suggest that you pop the product name into the search box to see?

Women do report sometimes getting a return of hot flushes when only on the progestogen part of combi HRT and particularly norethisterone ( the progestogen in Evorel and Elleste). Some women increase their oestrogen intake when on this phase but as you are taking a comb pill then you can't usually do this. However I see that Elleste Duet 2 mg contains the same dose of norethisterone as the 1 mg so perhaps you could try this one instead?

HI I am feeling worse on the elleste duet 2 mg, I have worse palpitations, feeling very low, irritable, headaches, exhausted, spotting etc. I am going to speak to the dr for advice as I have only been on them for 2 weeks. I have a feeling they will just tell me to battle on with them as its only 2 weeks. Wll keep you updates.
