Hi all, I've posted a few times before. BSO in Dec 2015 and have been very stable and happy on Evorel 75, testim and Mirena for the past 3 years.
10 weeks ago I started feeling exhausted, disturbed sleep, low mood, anxiety, joint and muscle aches, extreme loss of interest in things I used to love, major demotivation.
I felt like this years ago when my Mirena ran out, had it replaced and all was well again. It ran out at 4 years when it was licenced for 5 but it was definitely that because it got changed and all my issues resolved.
My Mirena is 3 years old now and I am convinced it needs changing again. Licenced for 4 years when used as HRT.
Saw a meno specialist at Mr Panay's clinic who said it is likely low estrogen (but won't harm to get coil changed as well). Gone up to 100mcg and 112.5mcg but apart from a 4 day happy spike, feel just as wretched now.
I just have this very strong instinct that it's the Mirena. Got the female GP who fits coils in our practice calling me tomorrow to discuss changing it - fingers crossed she says yes because I can't take much more of this :-(
Anyone else? Just wanted to get this out really.
