Was it the same dr? - I'm dying to know?  and what pearls of wisdom did they dispense - just so we can add them to our "most stupid comment by a GP award list"!! :) :) ;D

Hi ladybt28 , No was a male doctor he was fine said he new a little but not a lot, but he did look up and work out which one would be best .He did say to go to the lady doctor if have problem but just hope I don't. Do not want too see her again

That is why poor ladies ended up on valium or in mental institutions - life wrecked.  He should be reported.  Print out the NICE guidelines and take them with you to any appointment.  I am gob smacked that a GP could say that.  You will find the right help and the right HRT.  Mx

Continue with that GP.  Tell him next time that you would like to learn about menopause togeghet.  Send him to this site.  Everyday is a learning curve and he seems keen [ish].
