Thanks so much for the replies. I am using Boots lube at the moment. I do feel better today urine wise. I think the antibiotics were making me feel terrible in myself.  I agree about the clinicians! My problem is still this weird green discharge, no smell at all.  It only appears a few hours after I have applied ovestin internally.  Nothing any other time and not with the Boots product..  Bit loathe to tell gp as not supposed to use it till I get all clear.

Oh go back.  Put your point across that you are no longer prepared to wait around.  If the GP is worried then he should get your appt. brought forwards ASAP!

You do need to check with the Practice Nurse though about the discharge  ;)

Many thanks for your help.  I will sort out things with the gp and nurse.

The other thing is to take pain relief which may well ease symptoms, I find 2 Nurofen helps.

I second Dancing girl's advice about Multi-gyn actigel - I have always found it better than lube which I have always found irritating.

Is it worth getting a swab done at your local sexual health clinic (if you still have one  ::) ) for the funny discharge?  They are usually much more efficient at this and it would rule that out as a cause of your discomfort and urinary problems.

Yes I think I will try it. I know green discharge is related to an STD but it's not that. Know it for certain. It's just weird how it only appears a few hours after I have used ovestin, then it clears in a few hours. No discomfort or smell.

Have a look at the other thread about bladder issues on here of course I forget the name  ::) [The Burning Club]

Could it be bacterial vaginitis?

Possibly but unless I use the cream I am symptom free.
