Hot flushes returned and not going away with estrogel!
« on: September 14, 2018, 07:29:49 AM »

Good morning
I'm using an Estrogel (2pumps×day) Utrogestan (5-7 days - severely intolerant) Testogel (1xday) combination which has worked brilliantly for the past year. Fast forward to this summer, I was travelling for 6 weeks and between sun and sea, kept forgetting the Estrogel and Testogel for days here and there and the final week had none at all. I had an odd flush but it was fine although I was sleeping a lot, 9-10 hours!!! :o Since arriving home, 10 days now, the system is back in place but the hot flushes have returned really badly :'(
I have upped the gel to 3xday for the past two days but no difference >:(

Help! How do I get the genie back into the bottle?!

Is it a waiting game or perhaps I should up to 4 or 5 pumps a day?

Could anybody shed some light?

Thank you  :)

You will probably need to give it time for the Oestrogel to get back into your system and to build up to an acceptable level again . Give it time x

Thanks so much for repying!

Sometimes all this timing drives me nuts but if I had known, I would not have messed with the genie!

Funnily enough when I began I was in an awful state, totally catatonic, buzzing all the time and depressed. Within 3 days of starting the fog lifted and it began to kick in. I'm not saying it's all been perfect but I'm human again  8)

Thanks to this site and all the wonderful contributors, I have a fairly effective and and natural plan which I really should not mess with. The only part I have to be really careful with is the Utrogestan phase. My first few phases were really scary. I got so depressed and suicidal! I can manage about 6 days but ideally would be 4. I had terrible PMT and some post natal depression before so I guess that was a sign. I'll just have to make sure I have regular checks.  ::)

It's about 50.000 million degrees here so when I heat up I feel like there may be a spontaneus combustion moment imminent. Ha, the medical profession would sit up and take notice then ;D

Thanks again!
