Has anyone used Evamist?
« on: September 04, 2018, 03:04:52 PM »

Hi - me again still trying to find a transdermal Estradiol which won't cause sneezing etc!

Looks like all the gels, emulsions and patches have chemicals as inactive ingredients I'm like to react to BUT

Evamist seems to be just estradiol, alcohol and octisalate which is in most sunscreen which I'm OK with.

Has anyone used Evamist and if so how did you get on with it? Or any friend's experiences etc?

Also I'm presuming it can be prescribed on NHS?  - I'll obviously ask the dr but they seem to know way less than people here so wanted to check out as much as poss before appointment tomorrow ...

Thanks very much! :)

Update: Evamist is not available on NHS! So that's prob why I'd not heard of it and people haven't tried it. Just thought I'd update in case anyone else was interested in it.

Am going to try Evorel patches (estrogen only) starting on 25s but he's given me enough to  increase dose if necessary

I went through all the NHS transdermals and this seems to have the least potential allergens ...
