Had first op for fibroid resection last week together with endometrial ablation   Does anyone have any tips for managing fibroids. Have further resection in eight weeks. Now on decapatyl injections which had put me in to early menopause. Night sweats and insomnia awful thanks

Unfortunately your post seems to have got missed - they soon drop off the page on this particular board! I don't know about fibroids and operations to alleviate problems with them but hopefully now someone might see and answer. There are members with fibroids. If you have been put into early (chemical) menopause then I presume you have been given HRT, because otherwise you will continue to suffer? You haven't said how old you are but oestrogen needs to be replacved at least until the natural average age of menopause of 51/52 if possible. Maybe you have to wait until after your next op? Also there are other members on here who have had injections to induce menopause and prevent the cycle.
