He everyone
I've been on a rollercoaster just over a year , been in different hrt etc anyway finally got an app with gynaecologist and she was clueless too as to what to put me on. I'm on femseven conti but she feels I need a higher dose but they don't do a higher dose so she's thinking about keeping me in femseven and giving me another patch of oestrogen?? She's getting back to me thu about it as she's going to speak to other drs about it. Anyone else had this, I did ask for the gel but she wants to try this first! Feeling fed up with it all now 😔 xx

Hi ody70.
Sorry your having a bad time at the moment.
All I know is that , I'm on femoston conti, and apparently
I could add Ellest solo to it if I needed it. It's just oestrogen only.
So yeah, she's probably correct....
Good luck anyway....

You would just have to be careful if adding oestrogen to a combi patch as the amount of progestogen in these patches is worked out to protect the uterus from that amount of oestrogen in the patch. Adding more oestrogen would be off licence and you would possibly need to make sure your womb lining was OK and if the doc is prescribing this, ask that they will do a scan on NHS to monitor this eg annually or at least after 6 months initially?
