Estroven only or patch instead of tablet?
« on: July 30, 2018, 06:34:07 AM »

Before I go to the docs and ask for Femoston 1/10, would I be better with a gel/patch or Estrogen in its own? Just thinking about my tension headaches and people's problems with progesterone
Thanks S Perimenopausal x

If you still have a uterus you can't use estrogen just on it's own.
Transdermal methods are usually suggested for migraine sufferers, don't know if that applies to tension headache sufferers too though.

could you not ask for a mirena which would protect your uterus as gives the progesterone topically where it it sneeded and have a oestragen patch or gel?
