I'm back from the GP, the plan is to up the dose of Estrodot and I'm starting Sertraline 50mg.
I've the option to swap to the gel if I need to.
He did advise I could have side effects for the first couple of weeks but they usually go?? I'm away this weekend at a wedding (I'm dreading it!) so did think may start next week or shall I just bite the bullet??
Xx

Good luck
I would start ASAP to get it in your system. I took them a while ago and didn't feel great initially but once kicked in much better. Some nausea but it soon passed. Not on them now but I hope you can try and enjoy the wedding x

Otes, I personally would wait until you get past the wedding so that you can start it at a less stressful time. There can be a few ups and downs at first, so dealing with extra stress during the start up wouldn't be a good idea.
I'm so glad your GP was listening, and is trying to help. We're all here for you to offer support too. xxxx

I'm going to wait till after the wedding, my GP said maybe give it 2 weeks on the higher strength patch and then if not improved start the AD's.
He did say the stronger patch maybe enough to boost my mood so maybe just hang on a bit longer to see if that does the trick.
Thanks so much xx

I feel so much better on the high dose, it honestly feels like a miracle!!
I'm going to give it a couple of weeks before I decide whether I need to take the AD's as maybe it was the extra Oestrogen I needed.
I hope it stays like this as I feel like a fog has lifted!
Many thanks for all the support x
