How do you know that you are having too much or not enough oestrogen and progesterone?

My doctor told me to start on 2 pumps of Estrogel and to increase to 4 if needed

If your symptoms aren't improving after a few weeks then you need more oestrogen eg....if your hot flushes aren't going.

Too much oestrogen can give you sore breasts, headaches, leg cramps.
