Hi ladies can I ask if you put your gel on at the same time as your oesrtogel. I do the oesrtogel in the mornings after my shower and I was thinking of putting the testosterone gel on at night but remembered some one said to be careful of night time transference to partner, what would you recommend I do I'm ready to start using it now, many thanks xx

Hi Daisydot - yes I always apply it in the morning. In terms of transference - yes T is not really a problem for women to most men as the amount is very very small anyway - even if they are nit supposed to have extra T. I would also worry about it rubbing off at night. As you say it is still very tacky even after the initial "drying"!

Not sure I would apply it to my arm though - unless you don't mind the potential for hair growth. You won't know this for several weeks or months. That's why I think the general advice from gynaes is apply to inner thigh. I found it close to my genital area and preferred to apply it lower down so I have chosen lower inner thigh just inside the knee. I have got extra hair growth on both thighs which I didn;lt have before - but just shave it off - a small price to pay for its benefits! Most of the benefits in fact will become apparent after weeks or months and I was told up to 4-5 months as all the biological and cellular effects take place..

If you want specialist advice from a gynaecologist you can e-mail Dr Currie or Women's Health Concern for a small fee. In the meantime there is a lot of information out there freely available and the rest of us do our best to help :)

Good luck with it Daisydot!
