Hi noheroicsplease - I'm not using it but wanted to respond to your comments about it being too strong, that it's not great. Testosterone gel is testosterone gel and it will all work if your symptoms are due to testosterone deficiency - and especially given time. It's not an instant treatment. Any of the formulations will work. You might not be able to tell even after 2 months whether it is enough for you, from what I understand so best to approach with caution re being tempted to increase the dose.
In terms of the strength - Tostran gel is twice the concentration of the Testim and testogel sachets so the only issue regarding its strength is that when women use such a small amount - eg a pea-sized blob - it is a bit more difficult to achieve consistency for obvious reasons as slight difference in blob size will give twice as much variation with Tostran as with the other two. For women who use a larger amount this is less likely to be an issue than the pea-sized blob women - but may not be an issue at all if you're careful.
Personally - and of course we are all different, I would not start with 1 pump - that is quite a lot and would give you the same amount of testosterone as if you made a Testogel or Testim sachet last 5 days.
Half a pump or 1 pump on alternate days would be applying the same amount of T as you would by making 1 gel sachet last 10 days. I think mine last longer than that. Absorption may be different but it gives you something to go on.
Even though testing testosterone for women is not especially accurate it is also recommended to have regular tests to check you are not having too much - the first thing my GP did when she prescribed me this on NHS is to send me for blood tests. For the three years I have been taking it I haven't had one (not that I think I have too much though....!).
Annie0710 - great that it's working so well for you - have you had your levels tested at all?
