Hi juneo have you had a mirror look downstairs recently, the reason i ask is originally before I knew anything about V.A I had red urine sample too and it freaked me out but no one checked me out I was just referred under 2week protocol to urologist.I was petrified and couldn't understand why the bleeding stopped as quickly as it started.so anyway long story short I had a look and I had two huge red raw sores at either side of vaginal entrance and every time I peed it was like pouring acid on that area and if course it bled.the pain was dreadful too,I had so many antibiotics courses that I was now allergic to most of them and of course I was riddled with thrush.it took a long long time to get that all corrected and it was by research and trial on my part not the gps or anyone else,i trawled the internet to get as much info as I could because I knew if I went down the urology route and had the invasive stuff done I was just introducing more bacteria into my system and my body couldn't cope with anything else not to mention my mind.I got the practice nurse to prescribe me an anti-fungal tablet, just one, then I bombarded my body with coconut oil internally by the spoonful twice daily internally by making it into pessaries and then externally applied to all the sores and paper cuts caused by the V.A which I'd now worked out this was what it was.when I'd calmed everything down and had no more pain, the swelling originally was awful,I then went back to the nurse and asked for estriol cream which I applied internally for 4 weeks as I knew I was bad and then also used externally every day,it took months of doing this to get right and in the meantime I'd no other uti infections so I knew I was n the right tracks,I tested my urine daily and kept the ph balance 7 and under by watching my diet ,no acidic foods or drinks no caffeine etc usual stuff, and drank bottled water I even checked the ph balance on the bottled water as it really varies, price has no impact on it.its a long hard slog and it's not always as clear cut as we think,I now trust my judgement before my gps sadly and I find it very hard to get them to think outside the box, they are so set on protocol that they miss the obvious.
I still get intermittent breast pain and I've been on the oestrogel a good few months now, some days I have nothing others I could scream with my left breast.ive got meno consulatant on Thursday so I'll see what he has to say about that and update.your body will be adjusting now to the drop in oestrogen so you'll have to allow for that with headaches etc.xx
