Hi ladies, I have just picked up my first prescription of evorel conti patches, does anyone know if I could start with half a patch?
I'm terrified of the side effects, which I always seem to get, I'm taking vagifem and just about to start YES VM moisturiser for the atrophy... still trying to get my head round this MINEFIELD... any help is always appreciated.

Hi
I have no experience of the patch you're using but I have happily cut my Oestrogen only patches in the past.
If it's your first lot of HRT patches then your GP has probably started you fairly low - What dose is it?

Haha- it is a dilemma!!!
You could pop to speak to your local Pharmacist and ask if it's the lowest dose?
Or ... Be brave and go for it!
Hopefully others more experienced with your HRT type will pop in to help too

I am happily cutting patches up on advice of my specialist...no probs at all....it is ok because it contains ingredients evenly across the whole patch..but getting the same size each time is tricky. Good luck
