which Utrogestan do you use?
« on: April 11, 2018, 11:02:43 PM »

I'm going to see a gynae tomorrow for a follow up appt, (he originally recommended hrt where gp said I was too young for meno). I'm going to ask about changing my patches for oestrogel and I'll need progesterone too, I was still having periods before hrt.

So I understand Utrogestan can be taken orally or vaginally, can anyone tell me the difference? And which do you take and why?  I assume either way is for 12 days out of the month? Thanks

Utrogestan is a capsule. It can be used orally or vaginally. I use it vaginally as I don't get as many side effects that way. xXx

Its the same tablet used orally or vaginally, I use 100mg for 12 days per month vaginally, seems to work best that way.
