CKLD, I'm not talking about a localised recurrence of breast cancer many years later, that could quite easily be a completely new tumour. I'm talking about the cancer returning years later having metastasised to the bones and/or other organs, by which time it's become terminal. That does happen more often than people realise, and in that case obviously they'd be able to tell if it was the original cancer or a completely new one. I don't think there are many other cancers that do that years later( but I could be wrong...)
