Ultrasound results

I posted a number of weeks ago about post menopausal bleeding. I finally had a trans vaginal u/s and it turns out I have an abnormally thick endometrium (8mm) despite having had an endometrial ablation 16 years ago. No masses were found. They couldn't find my ovaries. I see my ob/gyn on the 14th to talk about the next step. I know he wants to do a hysteroscopy, biopsy and D&C under sedation. I'm really antsy about sedation and general anesthesia, greatly due to past experiences, but I do not want to make any decisions I will regret later. We shall see what he says.

You are getting appropriate advice and treatment , so I would go with the Ob Gyn's  suggestions. A D&C will need some anaesthetic - don't worry this is all very routine. DG x
