How is your bladder, any irritation.  Do you have a constant need to pee?  Did you mention dryness?

One doesn't 'take' Vagifem  ;) - it's to be inserted into the vagina for 2 weeks then as necessary.  Maybe if you don't have symptoms give him or his secretary a phone call and ask?

Lack of oestrogen can affect the bowel as well as the, vagina, bladder and our whole ‘nether regions'.  Using Vagifem will hopefully help everything in that area.  Use every night for 2 weeks and from then on 2-3 times a week.  Treatment should probably continue for the rest of your life to help reduce urogenital and bowel problems.  You may experience some slight irritation (itchiness) in the first 2 weeks but then there should be no real side effects at all - it will improve the flora balance in the vagina and maintain a healthier environment generally.
It is unusual to be given local oestrogen by a bowel specialist.!!! Bravo to this specialist, I say :clapping:  Dg x
